Day 1 Left home in Westbury Park in heavy snow; kind neighbour had to abandon car; walked to 
Redland Station: train cancelled DUE TO SNOW!.
Shared Taxi to Temple Meads Station.
Train to London Paddington
transferred to London St Pancras
Eurostar to Paris
Night train to Berlin
Day 2 in Berlin
Brunch with jazz under arches near Friedrichs Strasse Station
Night train to Moscow 
Day 3 through Poland and Belorusse
( Moscow to Hanoi itinerary assistance of Trans Siberian Travel gratefully acknowledged.)
Arrived Moscow at 8pm and met by driver for transfer to hotel
Night train - the Ural Express to Ekaterinburg
Days 7-10 Ekaterinburg and Urals (See my blog note to Westbury Park strollers)
Grand Opera La Traviata then at 2 am local time
Day 14-16 Harbin and its Ice Festival
Day 17 train to Beijing
Day 18-25 Beijing
Beijing to Hanoi train (2 nights)
Day 28 in Hanoi
